Just In: Planned Parenthood's Condoms Don't Work
January 18, 2005

Speaking of Planned Parenthood, Consumer Reports recently released some research that suggests that just maybe, they hand out condoms and birth control with the hopes that youth will fail and become customers in the infanticide turned big business holocaust known as "abortion clinics". Ya don't say?

Apparently, the condoms Planned Parenthood give out rank very low compared to other brands. And here I thought PP wasn't capable of lies...

Not to mention how ineffective condoms are at preventing STD's and AIDS. Maybe they should change their name from "Planned Parenthood" to "Unplanned Sterility."

When I saw this article a couple days ago, I found it very ironic. The more unplanned, unwanted pregnancies women have, the more abortions, the more money.

The love of money is the root of all evil...

Why am I not surprised?

Did someone actually think they cared about young peoples welfare? With young black girls rapping in their commercials about "sterilization" as if it were something common like getting your tonsils out... It is a billion dollar business baby! More irresponsible youth, more sex more dead babies more money!
God have mercy on our foolish nation!

Anyone whose lovemaking is so constricted that a condom would protect from STD isn't doing it right.

Here they are promoting safe sex, buying the cheapest condoms available? That's laughable.

Hate to breakup this bash fest on Planned Parenthood but RTA. Not the one in the post but this one. All consumer Reports said was that Planned Parenthood condoms are bad. There was no mention as to thier motives. The rest looks like stuff lifenews came up with. I am not a big fan of PP but with all of the sloppy, yellow journalism going on these days, we should insist that those who bring us news do better.

PP is busted! btw, my good deed for the day one day last year was getting a PP flyer removed that was advertising free birth control and 'services' to the local junior highers and high schoolers one block over from the shopping center the flyer was posted on (on offical city bulletin board, no less). I explained to the city that there were many good parents up here in our very family oriented small city and that they would not appreciate PP going behind their backs and enouraging their 13-yr-olds to override their parents' wishes by going secretly to PP>

This PP commentary sex-talk is making me feel awful dirty......I need shower. And a cigarette.

(Hmmm....I wonda if da prophylactic worked; hope dat joint dih-in bust. Yo, how come dey don't be callin it dat no mo? Anudder big-ass word banished in da dumbin down of American skools. I ain' gradurate no way.)

Skimp on the condom quality, charge women hundreds of dollars for surgical techniques stuck in the 19th century, expand heavily into poor minority neighborhoods with poor prenatal care...you can't blame them for their business acumen, at least.

Um, to all the folks suggesting that the report didn't seek to connect motives. DUH.

People take reports and draw their own conclusions. Life news drew theirs and it's not far-fetched.

Considering the fact that abortion clinics are strategically placed similarly to Liquor Stores in the center of many an urban community, I think we ought to be just a little honest with ourselves and consider the very foundation of an organization like PP.

Plain and simple, PP benefits from teenagers screwing up (no pun in tended). That in and of itself leaves gaping opportunities for foul-play.

The least we can do is admit that.

i guess we'll just have to agree to disagree.

PP is an organization composed of other non-profit organizations. non-profits do not serve to profit(as indicated in their names), but instead provide a service. PP's service is to provide means of contraception and education about contraception for those who cannot afford it, and/or are unaware of their options.

which goes to the other point that abortion clinics are placed in the center of many urban communities -- unlike liquor stores, which serve a product for profit that only negatively affects those who take it, the foundation of an organization like PP is to provide another choice. people don't get pregnant b/c the abortion clinic is around the corner. people get pregnant b/c they are either irresponsible and do not take the proper precautions when they have sex, or are uninformed on their options for contraception.

PP doesn't profit from abortions and unplanned pregnancies any more than the Red Cross profits from natural disasters.

Aw man, you missed your chance!
