You know it's bad when you start using slang to define slang. In anycase, the vernacular translation makes different verbial use of "To learn", which means to school, to educate, to enlighten. 
"to slipper" means "to spank" ie to spank with a slipper. My moms choice of weapon when a switch wasn't handy. (She could also throw it) cue the theme from "Good Bad & the Ugly" Memer, I'm with you on the dreadlocks thing. I'm still laughing as I type this. I love my cat, I really do. And I love her even more now that I realize, for the first time, that I have never even had to contemplate removing dreadlocks from her. Sometimes, we need little jolts like this to make us realize how good we have it. Haha. I get some google searches about athiesm coming to my door, but the most common is "hardees mechanical bull". I said some stuff about that commercial and now I get a hit or two a day from it. Okay yes BH I should've made that clearer "to spank with a slipper". My mother on the other hand, used whatever was handy, no matter how ridiculous (e.g. a pillow). HEHEHE, this post was my entertainment of the day. :) The "removing dreadlocks from cats" thing really has me confused though. Giving a cat dreadlocks would be some sort of talent!
