Self-Indoocement

Yesterday I sealed my fate as a certified looney toon. Just a few months shy of my one year anniversary, I officially resigned from my perfectly fine job at Google in order to make time for writing and upcoming projects. Even now as I type this, I feel nauseous at the thought. What in the world am I thinking? The answer to that I do not know, but I am excited about the prospects of what lies ahead. I'm even more excited that I can finally use Google Adsense without conflict of interest. I hope this life adjustment will affect this site for the better.

And you guys thought I was kidding when I said I was making major adjustments...

Proud of You! May God Bless you and show you his richest favor as you endeavor to commit to him in this new area!

God bless you in this new direction in your life. You have been spoiling us lately with the renewed posting, and I hope the free ice cream keeps churning.

Did you get the free meal plan with Google? If you did, then did you happen to notice others that took advantage of it and packed on the weight after they started working there? On one of the Food Channel shows they featured Google and the gourmet organic-vegetarian fare they give their employees.

You're quitting your job with Google?? Wow that takes guts, I'm impressed.

Still waiting for the "Nyktionary;" it'd make a great book.

So uh, how can I apply for that job at Google?? Just kidding

I really mean this: you'll be fine. I've been off the "path" for over a decade and have always been able to get freelance work. I haven't had a salaried job since the early 90's, and that was in Japan. You're so lucky that you've got book deal(s)--it's very hard to achieve.

What's all this "luck" folderol of which these people speak?!!

Congrats,

I am always a supporter of daring decisions. It has been a while since I have commented (of consequence), but I am excited about your return and your future. Please count me as a virtual myrmidon, who not only enjoys your commentary but also the purity of purpose that generates it.

Warmest regards,

Good morning Ambra how are you? I just read your message this morning. I just want to know what is a "Niktionary"? Have good luck in your new endeavor if I don't see you. Thanks.
