February 10, 2005Radio Interview Okay so my last radio interview on Rabbi Daniel Lapin's show is up online. They had me on for about 45 minutes so it's not exactly quick listening. Rabbi Lapin heads up an organization called Toward Tradition. I'll give you the link with one disclaimer: in her excitement, my interviewer was very nice, but admittedly started off the interview talking over me quite a bit so it sounds like we're competetively talking. You know how it is when someone asks you a question and then interrupts you when you try to answer. She eases off towards the remainder of the interview, but anyway, there you have it. I think you may need the evil Windows Media Player to listen, and pardon the commercials: Toward Tradition Interview. P.S. For all you who sent me pronounciations. You are correct, "Nykol" is pronounced "Knee-cole" and hence the site is "knee-kola".

I found it a refreshing conversation, even with the competitive talking. The interviewer cracked me up. It was worth it just to hear her use the words ominous and liberal in the same sentence. I expected your voice to be a little lower, maybe because of your deep-held views. The interviewer (Rochelle?) is supposed to be a communications major, yet I got the impression she skipped the Listening 101 class. She made me feel like reaching through the speaker and "gently" slapping her. You sounded a little nervous at first but got some momentum and overcame Miss Interruptus. Congrats on the interview.
