Brother Michael Moore

Thought I'd share these interesting pre-election thoughts from frump-boy. I especially like his admonition to black people:

"To African Americans:

First of all, let’s just acknowledge what you already know: America is a country which still has a race problem, to put it nicely. Al Gore would be president today had thousands of African Americans not had their right to vote stolen from them in Florida in 2000.

Here is my commitment: I will do everything I can to make sure that this will not happen again. And I’m not the only one making this pledge. Thousands of volunteer lawyers are flying to Florida to act as poll watchers and intervene should there be any attempts to deny anyone their right to vote. They will NOT be messing around.

For my part, I have organized an army of 1,200 professional and amateur filmmakers who will be armed with video cameras throughout the states of Florida and Ohio. At the first sign of criminality, we will dispatch a camera crew to where the vote fraud is taking place and record what is going on. We will put a big public spotlight on any wrongdoing by Republican officials in those two states. They will not get away with this as they did in 2000.

In Ohio, the Republicans are sending almost 2,000 paid “poll challengers” into the black precincts of Cleveland in an attempt to stop African Americans from voting. This action is beyond despicable. Do not let this stop you from voting. I, and thousand of others, will be there to fight for you and protect you."

My favorite line? "At the first sign of criminality, we will dispatch a camera crew to where the vote fraud is taking place and record what is going on"...(subtext: I will do this so that I can turn the footage into a crockumentary and make lots of money by exploiting you). Oh but wait. It's the conservatives who are the capitalists right?

You know we're in a different era when at the first sign of "criminal behavior" people threaten to "dispatch cameras" as a weapon. For Mr. Moore's sake, let's pray that gathering his footage didn't involve any running.

I love that with all of his media and power and money, frump-boy was not able to sway Americans to vote against President Bush.

Moore has absolutely no integrity.

I thought it marvelously hillarious when "frump-boy" couldn't locate any so called "voter fraud". So, he packed his junk and left..(*sniff sniff whimper whimper).I'm black and nobody stopped me from voting. There were what, maybe 10 folks and four election officials at our polling place? Geez, what a load of you-know-what!

I wish there was a way for everyone to see the send-up of Moore that was done in BBC America's pre-election special of "Dead Ringers".

He was doing a documentary about... Michael Moore! Quite hilarious :)

"I, and thousand of others, will be there to fight for you and protect you" - Gee, can we get any more patronizing Mike?

Tom: you're cracking me up. It's okay that you don't want to learn HTML. Desipte my disagreement with you that it is a force of evil, I'll excuse it because I too am stubborn about certain things...like learning new card games. Please don't try to teach me. It takes to much focused energy and concentration.

And Anthony, you mus'nt forget, we are too stupid to pull the stick, I mean the lever, or touch the screen or whatever. I mean, it's all so confusing. Voting is for smart people of course.

Glen: Do you think there's a link to online footage?

Alex: You know it's true.

Gina: Do you live in a swing state?

Thanks Mike! When you and thousands of lawyers and camera came to Florida to ensure an accurate count... you made sure W won! And that you can't claim fraud this time around!
For the first time ever, I feel happy thoughts about Mike Moore (that don't involve a tazer and/or a Dremel)

The funniest thing I saw this morning was an ebay auction showing the pic of Moore with goofy look on face showing the loser sign (from the RNC). Title of the auction:

'Michael Moore's Relevence'

Priceless :D

Sorry folks, its been removed but it was there.

Hey Ambra!

No dear, not a "swinger",I live in Bush's home state of Texas. As a matter of fact, I live in the epicenter of Texas liberalism (that being Austin). Our polling place was a church building down the street from our house. I went after work to vote, and was surprised that it wasn't crowded.

At least he tries to make a difference. He's not perfect, but who is? The media is packed full of lies, but at least his heart is somewhat in the right place.

Posted by: April at November 8, 2004 09:28 PM

His heart is in the right place? Well everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I know his heart is in the place of capitalize off the same system that I make a mockery of the same country that I ridicule and smash! I am making millions and millions of dollar while wearing the facade of being a representation of the working class. Just like Senator Kerry the billionaire who attempted to convice people that he is representing "the little guy" Yeah right Mike I'm onto you you can dress with your little baseball cap and working class clothing while you live the life of a king by created scandal. I once had an econ Prof who was wise he told us never look at what people say and judge them by that. Look at their actions! Making crockumentaries and slanging them to the irate public! Does not make you a good person! I am glad Mr Moore had a wake up call to what America really thinks of his farce of a career.4 more years He Eminem and all of them other cats are looking for another avenue cuz this one reaks
of immense failure!
